Decline of Saxon Hotel
breakfast service was VERY poor. Orange juice was not fresh - asked for ginger to be added. Did not happen. Cappuccino was cold. Eggs Benedict took 50 minutes to arrive, was cold and not on ciabatta as requested. Waitresses had no idea how to set the table and remove plates before they bring the next course. a real bad experience. was not like this a few years ago.

The Saxon is a beautiful property but it was the service which set it apart. Switched on intelligent staff who were really focused on ensuring guests got what they wanted from their stay.

La restauration est de très grande qualité. Nous sommes passés par l’hôtel pour l’organisation des visites, réservations… tout s’est très bien passé. Service personnalisé. Seul inconvénient: la chambre est sombre à cause de la végétation et il fallait allumer la lumière la journée.

Excellent premise and location. We stayed in a villa, but Qunu restaurant service sub par and overpriced. Had to ask 3x just to get a bottle of wine and waiters kept forgetting our orders
