"Nice place, very well located near the harbor. The room was very large, but very dark. Walls and ceilings are dark green with minimal lighting. There was a large window that looked out on a very narrow space to the next building. No natural light came into the room. The hotel staff say they created a cozy environment. For me it was more like a hole with no light. "

"The Claremont was an easy place to stay. We didn't utilise the hotel bistro or breakfast but the facilities looked good. The room was basic and small but was very clean and provided tea & coffee. The bed was comfortable and the room suited our needs for the one night stay."

"Good for couple, not family. Very good location. Clean rooms but one of our rooms (the biggest one) got smoke smell. Put the room make up on the handle but just provided new towels, didn’t tidy up. Shower is too high and water splashed out since no door or curtain for the shower area."
