"Initially I was checked in to smaller room than I booked. Upon discussion in the following morning, the room was switched to the correct one and all the move was neatly done by staff while I went out to business. The room (superior room) was very comfortable. Housekeeping was perfect. The location is also good as close to the train station and easy to move to Casablanca and Tangier for a day trip. Only negative point is Hotel.com does not provide an option to include breakfast in the pricing...

"The riad décor is beautiful as all raids are. The location is great right in the edge of the medina. The shower in my room was broken so it could not stay up on the holder and the hose had leaks so water sprayed everywhere and the door didn't shut so water got all over the bathroom floor every time I showered. I'd say this is more of a three star hotel, not four. The staff was kind and welcoming. It was nice to have an elevator. The wifi was not strong enough to take a work call so don't plan on...

"My room was on the 2nd floor at the front of the hotel. A nightclub which exited at the front of hotel was open nearly every night until 4 or 5am. Very noisy from 2am until 5am most nights. I stayed 2wks total. Many taxies outside dropping off and picking up through the night. Luckily I sleep well but was woken up several times with horns beeping and many people shouting. "The Riad El Maati is traditional and yet modern and functional inside the room. It’s an easy 20 min walk from the train station. It has electrical outlets in the right places, plenty of wardrobe shelves, and built-in wall heaters. The terrace deck is stunning too. Staff are all very friendly and accommodating, such as for extra blanket. Flexibility with breakfast schedule on departure day.
