I was informed by the director that the lumps were special for comfort and that all beds have this special mattresses. I was told to turn off the air conditioning when not in the room. This is unexpected in a highly-rated four star hotel. The staff seems to believe that guests are fortunate to stay."

"The room was beautiful and amazing, perfect for a family of four or five. The dining option was alright and convenient if one does not want to leave the hotel but for the price paid, the food was nothing outstanding and the service was slow. The breakfast option was great although we were given false information by the receptionist that it was included in our booking so during checkout I was unpleasantly surprised with the extra amount. "place in middle of Loire valley; rural area with bugs and greenheads but incredible views, history, architecture, chateaus and so on; all hotel stuff was extremely friendly and nice; very good breakfast; well renovated; we enjoyed every minute there, pool, hamam; didn't have time for spa though... we will come back for sure"
