"Visited Noto once again and returned to the Sofia (tried a B&B last year but not a great experience) so back to the Sofia and as always the all the staff are friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend staying here - The rooms are clean and comfortable - however it would be nice to have Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which I thought was standard for the 4* hotel. It is on the outskirts of Noto but the centre is 5 minute in the car. I will be back again "

"Upon arrival, the property appeared unkempt and tired. At check in we discovered the swimming pool was not Included in the fee and would cost another 30€ for one half day. At the pool terrace, we were removed by staff as our pool passes did not include sitting at poolside! We were sent to the “garden” area which was a weedy, garbage strewn area away from the pool. "Stayed for 3 nites Air Conditioner was broke and not working the first night but they brought us a fan which helped and they fixed it the next morning. Breakfast was great the first morning and went downhill from there- $8.00 per person. Probably not worth it but the coffee was good. No cafe near by. Shower great. Staff helpful. Old building in not a very pretty area but safe enough. Elevator helpful for luggage. Great restaurants on the beach. "
