"The lodge is set in a very scenic setting next to Lock Aboyne and woodlands which you can walk around. The property itself owned and run by a lovely couple who pretty much seem to do everything themselves. The decor is dated and old fashioned but if you like golf this is a great option as the course setting is fabulous …it’s a 9 hole set over a huge expanse with inclines and some difficult hazards. "Amazing! Marketing does not do it justice … heated bathroom floors , separate living room with a double pull out , a full kitchen , fresh milk , teas coffee there for you. Clean , we travelled through Scotland and Ireland this trip and this was by far our best stay! No dinner available only break or and lunch but amazing food and ice cream. Drive ten mins for dinner or bring groceries. "
