"I have stayed here a few time now, rooms are fab, heating in the room was perfect as I hate a hotel room which doesn’t have great heating. Hot chocolate, tea, coffee and biscuits and a bottle of water provided. I would highly recommend this hotels to my friends and family. Staff were lovely too."

"I recently returned to Lindean Guest House in Dumfries as it is my preferred accommodation when on business in the area. "The hotel is a stately home. More like a Manor that is just outside Penpont; Thornhill is just a 5 min drive. It’s located in a gorgeous area surrounded by lovely old oak trees and the Scaur River. Excellent for a good walk. "
