"A great hotel with lovely staff and very clean. Reception area is welcoming, beautiful and smells fantastic! The rooms are a little on the small side and the lighting isn’t great, especially in the bathroom and shower. There is also a smell which comes from the drains but overall, a great hotel and I would highly recommend it. 3 pools to choose from all with beds although they need to be stricter on the policy of not reserving subbed early in the morning. "

"This is a beautiful hotel with excellent, comfy beds, great staff and it's on the sea! The beach nearby is pebbly and it's a 25 minute walk to the old town - not a huge amount to do in the immediate area, but the hotel itself more than makes up for that!"

"My husband and I loved this hotel’s ambiance in its decor, location, restaurant and especially its gorgeous courtyard restaurant. They offered a complimentary breakfast that was absolutely amazingly delicious, unique and plentiful. I would definitely go back just for their breakfast! Unfortunately we were there for only one night but due to the hotel’s location and their willingness to hold our luggage for a few hours, we were able to visit some of the main sights & local shops of Rhethymno. ...

"The bays for swimming and relaxing are great. It could however do with a few more sun shades and sunbeds by these bays. I also dislike the towels being left on sunbeds early in the morning - and the people not turning up until midday. "

"A very charming small hotel. The hotel was an old olive oil producing village that fell into ruin. Each of the rooms has been renovated from small workers cottages to a charming standard. It is such a lovely, quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle. The pool is idyllic, the only criticism would be that I think it should be adults only. The ambience was somewhat spoilt when there was a couple with a baby who was crying by the pool and had the parents speak baby talk which ruined the quiet...

"Nice hotel in good location. Staff friendly and rooms small but nice. A kettle in the room but no tea or coffee sachets. The swimming pool was too dirty to use (cloudy and with sand) and mostly in the shade. Location good near the beach and the old town. Of course this makes it noisy - light sleepers might need earplugs! "
