"Stayed for two nights midweek. Our room was well furnished and very clean. Well stocked hospitality tray with an essential coffee machine and a very welcome complimentary gin on arrival. Beautiful view across the river to Polruan. Excellent continental breakfast. Having just experienced Japanese service and hospitality, we were happy to find the staff at the Harbour Hotel can match this! Thank you for an enjoyable stay."

"Beautiful, elegant hotel with lovely public rooms, ie bar, restaurant. My room had a great sea view. The wall paper was a little dated, but nothing to worry about. When I ran a bath the water was brown - I guess because of either old pipes or recycled rainwater? But it would have been good to have a note explaining it in the bathroom, so I felt reassured to take my bath (I didn't!). Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful on the whole. The views, the walks and the convenient sporting equipment...

"We were given an upgrade to a sea view room which was ace, the room was huge with great views of Fistral. All the staff were really friendly and we had lunch when we arrived and breakfast the day after and both meals were really tasty and hot which is quite rare now. It's difficult to find any fault with our stay at lewinnick, highly recommended."

"Room was spacious, but lacking a couple of items to make the stay easier. Full length mirror would have been ideal, a dresser table with vanity mirror. The towels were somewhat thread bare and as for bath towels, on the small side, but the shower was good, plenty of power. Had to clean out the ceiling extractor fan as it was clogged up with built up dust (it won't work efficiently if blocked up!) A little attention to detail would not go a miss. St Ives "
