"The only reasons I couldn’t give this property 5 stars is due to the spiders in the rooms, and the prices vs quality of the food served in the restaurant downstairs. It’s, by far, one of the most spectacular house hotels we’ve ever stayed at in terms of beauty, comfort, and location. But when you wake up to find a squashed spider on your pillow (which you likely accidentally killed in your sleep -yes there was bug juice on the pillow too), it makes you question a few things.
