Didn’t even need to drive once to the amenities outside the property. Probably the best located spot at Granlibakken"

"Overall stay is good and lodge is cozy and a large size of kitchen with full utensils to use, which are very convenient. A few things that the management may think to improve: the washer and dryer, especially the dryer is not clean and some dust even coins left inside the dryer. Customer service phone number is not reachable the day after Xmas so there is nobody to answer our questions."

"The so called village is extremely convienient and build as many of them around the country and I would compare it to Stowe, VT. The condo has been remodeled and I am not judging the quality of work.the owner was extremely responsive with any concernes. Our issue were dirty sheets that appeared to be more cleverly cheated by the cleaning service than really cleaned - issue solved new sheets provided. "We rented the Alpine Manor Retreat for my daughter’s ski birthday weekend. This place is great. Great location. Easy to get to Alpine, Pallisades, Tahoe City or Truckee. Clean. We always like that when we walk in. Responsive communication system. Door code didn’t work at first, but was fixed in less than 5 minutes. "

"This property is in great location. I really love the big window and lake view. It’s has access to the private pier which is a big plus. However it’s quite old. The stove top and oven is not working during our stay. And I suggest bringing your own bedding."
