"After a late arrival we found the check in to be very quick and efficient. A peaceful nights sleep was had, followed by a really nice buffet breakfast. I’m not sure if this was a standard breakfast for all Scandic hotels, but if it is I won’t be staying anywhere else in future. 10/10. "

"Property, staff and comnplimentary breakfast served every morning was excellent! Right next to the rink but the walk way between the two buildings was closed making it necessary to walk in the rain to get to the arena doors. Also, there is no complementary customer parking. You must pay to park in a City run underground parkade also a block away."

"Es uno de esos hoteles que pretende eliminar la recepción para abaratar costos. Ya no estamos en pandemia. Yo prefiero que me atienda un recepcionista, tuve que pedir un taxi que me recogiera a las 4 de la mañana, no tuve ayuda y me las vi brava. Prefiero pagar más pero ir donde me atiendan mejor."

"Eilert Smith Hotel exceeded our expectations!!! This is a Luxury Boutique Hotel. They treat you like royalty right when you walk in the door. I would definitely stay there again in Stavanger. It was the best of all places we stayed in Norway. It didn’t have the most amenities or even the best views but it made up for it in service and quality of the room and everything in the room. "Checkin machine did not work upon arrival. Got support over telephone but took some time. Very nice, clean and roomy apartment located downtown Stavanger with bars, cafes and restaurants int the same street."

"Great spot, walking distance from Old Stavanger/the port etc. Easy check in with all details sent beforehand by email. Overall had a lovely stay & would come again. "

"Everything was great! My only complaint was checkout was for 11am and I actually had housekeeping enter my room at 9am on their own without me opening the door, which I felt odd bc what if we were indecent? Other than that the actual place was great. "
