"Great location. Loved our stay but will book a bigger room next time. Also hope to have a room with a view. The room had no view, only of walls and windows. Great breakfast and nothing was too much trouble, food replenished instantly when running low. The staff are all very professional and courteous. The only downside for me was the lack of vegetarian options on the restaurant menu. Will definitely book again. "

"What a delight this place was. Large apartment with semi-seperate bedrooms, comfy lounge and spacious bathroom, nice patio with fjord-side views, and good cafe/restaurant on site. Host and staff were friendly and welcoming, dinner was amazing and breakfast was good if modest in range of choice. Easy on-site parking"

"Eilert Smith Hotel exceeded our expectations!!! This is a Luxury Boutique Hotel. They treat you like royalty right when you walk in the door. I would definitely stay there again in Stavanger. It was the best of all places we stayed in Norway. It didn’t have the most amenities or even the best views but it made up for it in service and quality of the room and everything in the room. Top class linens and towels, coffee, organic local tea, turn down service, heated towel hanger, heated toilet seat with bidet, free snacks and chocolate! I only wish the restaurant wasn’t full. Reservations required 3-4 months in advance!"
