"The hotel building is a old Italian building that has been renovated too a high standard with a modern bathrooms, but also has been decorated to in a way that reflects its history. The staff are are versed in English, are friendly and respectful and love to help in any they can. The restaurant may be a bit expensive for some, but well worth a try as the food is amazing. I only thing that could be improved in my opinion is the variaty in the breakfast buffet. Besides that, I will be returning...

"On business I need a nice room, good wi-fi, easy parking, breakfast and attentive staff. The Bussola provides all these. It's away from the centre of Novara, but for me that's not a drawback. There are restaurants within walking distance. Parking is close by in the street. Breakfast is as expected in Italy. There's no bar but beer and other drinks may be purchased from the reception. The reception staff are attentive and friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Should you be interested...

"The hotel is close to the airport, but not directly attached to the airport. It's too bad that it costs 25 euro to get from there to the airport despite the close proximity... usually airport hotel shuttles are reasonably priced. But this is the going rate of taxis in the vicinity of the airport. "

"Fabulous location overlooking Lake Maggiore, and across the road from the ferry port, making it super-easy to visit the Borromeo Islands and even Switzerland! The room was beautifully clean and comfortable. What was particularly nice was the free coffee bar in the lounge and the "sweetie bar" in reception, and the welcome drinks & nibbles were an exceptional touch. Everything is within close walking distance, with lots of nearby restaurants and cafés. Would definitely stay here again."
