"We enjoyed our stay overall. It was a little spoiled that the AC was not working in the first room we were allocated. I had paid for an upgrade too. We were moved to another room without any fuss and I was refunded on checkout. The hotel is well located, close to the Cathedral and a 5 minute walk to the quayside. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was clean and comfortable. A special mention to Alice & Peter who helped us when we had to...

"One night attending a concert. Clean attractive hotel and rooms, centrally located. No onsite parking, but 2 nearby car parks available. Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very comfortable stay."

"As ever a great stay at the Hotel du Vin Exeter, friendly and professional staff and lovely rooms, and mine was no exception this time. The breakfast was made to order which was absolutely delicious, it really is a USP in these days of hotels serving up a dried up breakfast buffet kept tepid under lights and bland scrambled eggs which have no colour or taste. So to conclude, great hotel and staff, superb customer service and excellent food!"

"We arrived in the dark after a trip to Rosemoor Glow and there was very little signposting that we could see to reception and then to our room when we eventually hit checked in. Meal in the restaurant was excellent although service if drinks was slow and mains came literally as soon as last mouthful of starter taken and plates hadn’t been cleared. Lovely peaceful sleep and to wake up the next morning to see the place in dayslight was beautiful. Breakfast was average - service good . Went to use...
