"Loved this accomodation, this was the end of a 3 week road trip for us and we felt like we ended in style. The bed was super comfy and the balcony was a good size. The furniture was comfortable and looked good as well. There was a washing machine and dryer and a small kitchen with everything you need, including a full size fridge. Lots of storage in bedroom and hallway, could easily have stayed a week or more. Beautiful views of the marina and very handy to cafes and restaurants and some cruise...

"When I arrived I was told that my door lock was broken and was being repaired. As the hotel was full they couldn’t offer me another room. The receptionist and repairer did an excellent job ensuring that I was happy while the repair was completed."

"Waratah on York is the perfect place to stay if you like old world charm with the convenience of a contemporary bathroom. The staff were supper helpful with suggestions on where to find a delicious meal or tourist attractions. As mentioned in previous reviews, the outside and inside steps may be a challenge for elderly or disabled guests but there are rooms downstairs so be sure to mention any medical conditions on booking and I am sure Pia will be happy to assist you. Memorable stay. Thank you."
