"Staff are great, pool is nice, room was comfortable. Bit of noise transference between floors (ceiling very creaky if someone walking in room above) but otherwise it was great. Parking at hotel is limited but there is a reasonable workaround (getting permit to park in nearby car park). Would recommend."

"Overall a very comfortable experience. This is the second time we stayed in Macdonald's hotel, opted for half board and loved our meals everynight. Breakfast was great, would be nice to have meatfree options for vegetarians, even if not in buffet but can offer to prepare it if requested, still loved scones and beans and pancakes, kind and caring staff."

"Staff are very attentive and cant do enough to make your stay a pleasure. Breakfast cooked to irder. My friend said the pancakes were fluffy and the best he had ever tasted and poached eggs were cooked to perfection! Dinner menu could be a bit more variable. Especially if you are staying more than 1 night, but the food was delicious. An elevator/ lift would be most appeciated !! Overall a most enjoyable visit."
