"Staff was excellent, room very good. A bit expensive, but convenient to town center. The area around the hotel had massive construction going on. A bit noisy, but very quiet at night. Two negatives: shower was terrible, one minute it was extremely hot and the next it was suddenly ice cold. Taking a shower was an adventure. Also the room was a bit warm, and the thermostat didn’t work. Overall though, a nice hotel. We’d definitely stay there again."

The price was quite reasonable compared to hotels / apartments in Zurich. (-) The location is far from Zurich. The hotel is located 5-7 minutes drive / 25 minute walk from Dottingen train station but getting back and forth to this station is a challenge as it's very hard to find taxis and uber in this area.
