"Well situated, a good walk to the old town or a bus ride with a stop right next to the hotel. Friendly staff, great breakfast with really good coffee. My only minor complaint is with housekeeping not restocking loo rolls and herbal tea sachets. Also, the hotel should invest in decent coffee makers in the room rather than sachets of instant coffee. "

"Fantastic sea view from 5th floor sea-facing room. Room was fabulous (Executive suite) however the chairs on the balcony were not very comfortable or practical. Staff were excellent throughout and we were allowed an early check in as the room was ready at 11am which was really helpful. Breakfast was ok, some breakfast items weren’t great (scrambled egg, orange juice) but on the whole was fine."

"I wouldnt recommend walking to the hotel with huge bags. Get taxi or bus. It is on a hill, serviced by local buses. But the hotel itself is great, staff fantastic and just close enough (20-30) min walk between Old Town and where all the other hotels are in Lapad (30 mins other directon). Released pleased we books this hotel rather than one further out in Lapad ."

"Superb views of the beach. Last time I was in Dubrovnik, I stayed in a different hotel but moving forward, I will be staying at Hotel Kompas. Such great amenities, clean rooms, friendly staff, and very walkable to the restaurants and beaches."
