"The person who checked us in lacks customer service. Don’t expect someone who is over enthusiastic but a bit better personality would help. I don’t understand why they take the card to pre authorise the check in payment and when when you check out they take the card again. Surely if a card is pre authorised it just takes the payment. This is how it worked in all other hotels I have stayed at On leaving we were giving a validated car park ticket which was great but it didn’t work. And when...

"We stay every year as part of our Christmas shopping weekend and nothing really changes. It’s a good quality hotel, with great rooms & good amenities. The local is good but there is nothing else around so you’re in it with them in terms of food etc which is a little pricey. I think breakfast could be better. "
