"A beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. It is an enormous building and can take four minutes to walk from one end to the other, usually up and down a lot of stairs! Didn't realise that rooms are only made up every three days, unless you request otherwise. Disappointing for a four star hotel. Will know in future!"

"Super stay, our third visit. The team are always so welcoming. A couple of bits that could have been improved on.... the heating turned on in my room before my arrival. There were a couple of small issues but the hotel was happy to put right had I asked."

"Very good location, handy for nice restaurants, pubs and museums. Quiet/safe area. Beautiful entrance/staircase in the hotel plus the dining area we used for breakfast was equally impressive. The full English breakfast was nice although poached eggs were overcooked. We were not waiting long, but I think that we had been forgotten about as breakfast overall was tasty but not piping hot. As well as the cooked breakfast there were self service cereals, toast etc. No pastries, fruit or cooked...

"Stayed here several times. Convenient for football. Comfortable hotel. We stayed on the other side of the hotel this time and the bathrooms felt a little tired and the rooms Smaller, but it was one night and good. Breakfast has a good choice, we asked for some food to be replenished and they did. "

"Our stay at Wychnor Park Country Club was fantastic. There were some issues with our accommodation but nothing that really ruined our short stay. When we arrived we were greeted by the fantastic staff and then went on to the apartment. Whilst only 2 bed it was huge and easily accommodated the 6 of us. Some minor cleanliness issues but not anything that ruined our trip. Facilities are fantastic and so much to do. The leisure centre was more than enough and suitable for our family, just a shame...

"A fantastic stay! Arrived around 9pm after a long day at Alton towers to a very warm and friendly welcome from Georgia & Jamie. Georgia showed us to our rooms and was very thorough. Breakfast we were looked after by Sammi who was so understanding & helpful with our breakfast needs (me a veggie, my teenager a fussy eater and o/h on the carnivore diet!) when it came to pay the bill, we questioned the price due to a quoted price on our booking which was confirmed on the phone before our trip!...
