"Our hotelier, Marcel was wonderful and so helpful and we had laundry done for a very reasonable price and returned same day. It's difficult to get to the riad as cars can only get so close but it is very walkable to the coast, the ferry station, and all of the souks in the medina. The bed was very hard as they are at most riads and unfortunately there was a mosque speaker right outside of the old wooden window frames so the prayers are VERY loud with the first at dawn and the last about an hour...

"The hotel is a modern high end gated community. The room was spacious and had a large terrace with lounge chair. Their a nice pool and a reading room for the guest. Marwan the front desk person was very helpful arranging driver to the airport and took care of everything for us. Hotel is about 3 miles form the old city but it is only a 2 Euro cab ride there. You can also walk to the modern Soco Alto mall in 10 minutes which has a large Carrefour supermarket and a nice place for lunch called Paul....

"The hotel is in a great location, just outside the Medina. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The Breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of options. We had two rooms with sea views. The rooms had a great view, comfortable beds and were clean. The only problem was that the shower wall was very small so water got all over the bathroom Floor when I showered, but it wasn’t a big deal. The water pressure was very strong in the shower and stayed hot. Overall we had a great experience and...

"The Dar staff are amazing, the location is great and the ambiance is cosy. Good breakfasts too. Only downside is the super small showers (about 1/2m wide) but water pressure good and beds not as comfortable as they could be. We had panoramic sea view room and it was great but be warned you will walk 10 flights of steep narrow stairs to the top floor so not for anyone with health issues or bad knees!"
