"Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds. Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver. A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. "Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. Disappointed after Covid there is no spa/massage option as that would have been perfect. Stayed in a large room with separate room with door. 2 adults, 3 teens. Teens...

We were unfortunately visiting during Christmas, and the hotel organised a very loud party, which made it hard to sleep! Agreed to lower the volume after many requests "

"The last bit of approach to the resort is through an unpaved road. So its natural to be skeptical about what awaits you. But being in a secluded area probably gives the luxury of space. I must say I was pleasantly surprised to get such a property at a fairly reasonable price. There are 2 buildings. Try to select the older one since it provides a view of the Sigriya Rock, the biggest attraction around Dambulla. I stayed in the new wing. The family room was quite spacious and overlooked lush...

"Siminti was an absolutely amazing host! She was there for all our needs. We got a massage and she had a recommendation. Our safari was axong per her recommendation. She took care of our 3 year old son- always having water for him, making him great food, and being the sweetest person. The room was clean and just what we needed. If I were to return to Sigiriya, I'd stay here again. Walking distance to Sigiriya Rock and about 200 rupees by tuk tuk. "
