"This historically significant property is an absolute gem of a boutique hotel in the midst of Colombo. The restaurant is also wonderful, Such a surprise as we found it randomly and had no idea that it was the former prime minister's house and that Charles and Camilla had stayed there. Our room next to the beautiful courtyard pool had a four poster and a private terrace and a huge gorgeous modern bathroom. It is an old house but the decor is v. cool! So much so that they have a chain of shops...

"Good pool. We all, especially our grandsons, enjoyed the excellent buffets with all their choices. Ideal surroundings to relax in, but near enough to Colombo. Nice shower. Radu particularly helpful"
