"Great funky historic hotel right on Cuba St. Close to good food and shopping and everything is close by. Breakfast was great and this had everything we needed. We got off the last Interislander ferry in Wellington at 10pm. Quick taxi (10 min) to the hotel and it was another 10 min to the airport. We hung out at the Te Papa museum for the morning before our flight in the afternoon which was perfect and such and amazing museum. The hotel is an easy walk to the museum. "Travelodge had all the facilities we needed. An excellent fridge with milk provided. The bed was huge and very comfortable and a strong shower. Plates bowls mugs and cutlery meant it was perfect for our needs "

"We had a great stay here - the property is centrally located, nicely designed and has great amenities. The check-in process was smooth and we were happy overall. The only comment is on parking - if you are driving, the hotel does not have a car park and parking in central Wellington on a weekend was an absolute nightmare for us as we were unfamiliar with the city. I ended up finding 70 Tory Street Garage which was a 4 minute walk from the hotel, as the the closer car park “Care Park” only...
