"We liked that the Gare de Lille Europe and a huge shopping mall were across the street from the hotel. The restaurant was good for breakfast lunch and dinner. Our room was quiet and the beds comfortable. We could have used hand bars in the shower as the shower was slippery. I purchased a tapis de Bain which worked well. All the staff were friendly and helpful. A very enjoyable stay! "

"The ac doesnt really get cold. And the continental breakfast buffet was undercooked( the eggs, sausage, and bacon). Turkey sandwiches / a non pork option from the restaurant would also be welcomed. Otherwise the hotel and staff were nice."

"Well situated for the centre of town. A few minutes walk to the Grand Place with all the bar and cafes. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient and secure, if a little tight. The hotel and room was comfortable. Quite a lively area"

"The service was excellent and the hotel is located just on the edge of the touristy part of Lille and in walking distance from everything including the two trainstations. It's quiet and convenient. Again the service splendid. But the hotel is showing age, and the price for the rooms was really outrageous given that they are not much above one could get in a well run hotel ibis. The breakfast buffet was meh. You are better off going to one of the many cute little places in the area."

"It offered the kitchen services we wanted but front desk hotel service as well. The management was most helpful in extending our stay during the busy Olympic period. The breakfast bar was exceptional. Clean. Lots of options, especially the boiled egg cooker! We stayed in two different units both of which featured cheerful modern design. We worried about the hot summer months but found the rooms very comfortable. "

"We arrived Friday 1300hrs and were told the Restaurant and the bar was closed for the day due to staff party ....the hotel is in middle of an industrial estate miles from anywhere exceot the motorway. Nearest walkable shops etc are an hours walk. Saturday they made the bed refreshed the towels but not tea, coffee etc Sunday we came back to the hotel for dinner and some drinks at 1800hrs to be told the Restaurant and Bar were again shut :( on getting to our rooms neither had been serviced at all...

"Nice little hotel best beds we’ve had since leaving Canada. The location is wonderful with the exception of being directly outside some shady business's that have even shadier and unique characters. Except for that the staff was so welcoming, friendly and accommodating and we really enjoyed and appreciated the few extra steps taken to make our stay more enjoying like the L’occtaine products and daily refills of snacks, drinks and treats from the local bakery. "
