"The hotel has so much potential but unfortunately let down on a couple of key areas. Firstly it’s looking tired but even some basic housekeeping would have tidied a lot of this up (broken tiles, lick of paint etc). Main gripe though was the food and the price of it. Kids garlic bread was £5 and was basically just two slices of garlic bread from a supermarket with some cheese chucked on top. Then served undercooked. "The hotel roomed seemed spacious and clean. The shower ran out of hot water first thing in the morning. I had to take a cold shower at 7 in the morning because the warm water just went away and I had the handle turned all the way to hot. Not a great experience. And my husband was charged $10 for a small bowl of cereal and a coffee which is steep. "

"Overall it was a lovely property. Quiet, clean, very comfortable. Hosts were very accommodating and made us some fridge space. It would have been nice to be instructed a bit more regarding use of outdoor space. There was a key in the door leading to outside, and the door was very difficult to open and would lock on us if closed. Breakfast was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again but would ask more questions at check in!"
