The room was very comfortable and the facilities included a kitchen, a dining area with a lovely view, and lounge with a large TV. The owners were friendly, helpful and gave good information on things to see and do."

"Good acomodation booked in with the new property owner Kurt, we were the second transaction made on his hotel account, chap by the bar beat us to no 1 position by a matter of minutes, Kurt had recently bought the Castle Hotel friday the 1st of September was his first day so basically hit the road running! He explained theres going to be big changes / improvements over the coming months so watch the space, as a New Zealander the bar area is going to be a sport bar area with some great rugby...

"Lovely weekend at the Bear Inn.. quick check in, room was quirky, but very clean, linen and towels good quality. All staff very helpful and friendly. We are not vegetarians, however we ate at the Bear both evenings and thoroughly enjoyed the tasty food. Woul definitely recommend a visit. "
