We appreciated the quiet of our room ( we didn’t hear other guests), it's draftproofed sash window with view over the seashore, along with a comfortable bed and sufficient space in the room to be at ease. We really enjoyed the warm, cosy and relaxed atmosphere downstairs , the character of the place and tasteful interiors, and last, but not least, the delightful christmas tree in the dining area! "Our visit to Mellington Hall Country House Hotel was fantastic. The property is amazing, the staff were really attentive and amazing also. The food was superb and the service throughout was exceptional. After the meal we sat in the lovely building which has quiet rooms or an open fire. We went just before Christmas and so the property was probably quieter than during the summer months, but we definitely would return to enjoy walking in the surrounding countryside. "A beautiful, quiet guesthouse, very nicely furnished and very clean and comfortable. Received a very warm welcome and a breakfast menu for the following morning, on arrival. Made to feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was 5* and was enjoyed in a quiet and comfortable dining room with mountain views, an excellent start to the day. Will be sure to visit again and will be recommending to others in future. Thank you very much."
