"Fabulous! A truly relaxing home from home, with friendly and professional staff. We appreciated the quiet of our room ( we didnā€™t hear other guests), it's draftproofed sash window with view over the seashore, along with a comfortable bed and sufficient space in the room to be at ease. We really enjoyed the warm, cosy and relaxed atmosphere downstairs , the character of the place and tasteful interiors, and last, but not least, the delightful christmas tree in the dining area! "Our visit to Mellington Hall Country House Hotel was fantastic. The property is amazing, the staff were really attentive and amazing also. The food was superb and the service throughout was exceptional. After the meal we sat in the lovely building which has quiet rooms or an open fire. We went just before Christmas and so the property was probably quieter than during the summer months, but we definitely would return to enjoy walking in the surrounding countryside. "Stayed 2 nights as attending a wedding on new year's eve. Very friendly, welcoming hosts. Eileen even gave me a lift to the wedding! "Really nice apartment right in the middle of town. Very comfortable beds and lovely cosy lounge. The kitchen area is also very tidy with all you need to cook for your family. Would definitely stay here again. Only slight downside is the noise from the flats above and below, but this was daytime only noise. We slept very well. Overall very enjoyable stay. "
