"Far too many children making far too much noise in the swimming pool and more importantly in the restaurant. It completely spoiled my evening and I paid for a meal I couldn’t be bothered to eat. Signs could be put up instructing children are kept under control and noise kept at an appropriate level. "

The food - at both breakfast and dinner - was delicious and there was an excellent selection of wine. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with all needs met and a very decent shower. The spa facilities were well designed and perfectly cleaned and maintained. Again, the customer service was spot on. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so special."

"Overall a nice property with friendly staff in a good easily walkable location to the seafront and shops bars there. It has a nice bar and does good food in the restaurant and the general areas were well kept. What let it down for me was the room we had was lacking in that there was very poor water pressure in the shower, tv didn’t work, minimal hanging space and generally tired. They do have different types of rooms however and we were staying in what I think was the oldest part of the property...

"This place is truly amazing. From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. The hotel is beautifully appointed with some very eclectic touches of funriture and decoration. The staff deliver superb service. They even made a big fuss of Dizzi our Staffy. The food was amazing. I'de definitely recommend the venison. We will definitely be back and soon."
