"It's amazing how only two people (husband and wife - they run this place) can make you feel welcome and like you come to the house of loving friends or relatives! They greet us with the smile, showed to our rooms and offered us dinner even it was 10 pm. When was last time you had such a service!?? Can't not to mention the dinner that was cooked by husband - simply amazing! This place shows you all the best you want in hospitality. Highly recommended, we’ll be back! "

"Stayed for 2 nights as part of a road trip around France. Nice clean site, helpful staff, out of season so very quiet. Like 3 of the other hotels we stayed in during this trip, the swimming pool was not open when we tried to use it despite it being advertised, but otherwise all good"

"This hotel is a short walk from downtown Sarlat. Street parking was near-by and easy to find. Our room was a Standard but was luxuriously enormous with great amenities, and a very comfy bed. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful, even going to far as to ship back an item I'd left in the room. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at this villa. The room was simple but well appointed. Clean and very comfortable. The villa is located in a hill within the trees above the river. Very quiet and peaceful. The attached restaurant was excellent, but was only serving one of the nights we were there because they were hosting a wedding on the weekend. "A wonderful building and grounds. Superb food served on the terrace. Check out the stone spiral staircase!!!"

"Air conditioner was totally inadequate. Wi-Fi was poor. Toilet and bathroom were separate; latter required two steps. People at reception were unfriendly, refused to speak English and were unable to recommend a quality restaurant in Sarlot. Nice pool, good breakfast. Entrance off main road precarious. Four star rating undeserved."
