"Quite frankly, I can't really remember this hotel, so it must have been satisfactory. We were in Italy, Austria, and Germany for 13 nights; during that time, we stayed in 6 different hotels. We stayed in the Castello for one night (the 8th day of our trip) and we were so tired that two of us did not even go to dinner but to bed instead. "An idyllic place - set in countryside surrounded by a nice garden, and woods, yet close to the village and equidistant to city and coast. Lovely old farm building. Only marred because the main highway is fairly close and a bit noisy. Best bit - fantastic dinner, all home made (I think everything from the bread to the cakes are home made here, special note to the jam!) Breakfast on the patio perfect. If I were being picky I'd mention that the rooms corridor is a bit noisy - as an old building...

"We were 2 couples that picked this hotel most because it was very hot wether and it said, "the hotel had a pool", but no, the pool was a community Outdoor pool, about one kilometer from the hotell, and a fee of 8 euro?! It is a missleading destruktion of the hotel. The internet was pool, so was the AC and the Staff was bored, awoid!"

"We arrived at the hotel early in the afternoon and were immediately offered a choice of available rooms. All the staff were friendly and could not do enough to accommodate us. Andrea speaks French and German whilst Lumi also speaks English so language was not a barrier. The food was delightful and we were happy to allow Lumi free reign to prepare local dishes. The first night we enjoyed three different types of pasta whilst our second night we had two different cuts of beef. We did try to say...

"Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wenn es ein Anliegen unsererseits gab, wurde sich sofort darum gekümmert. Der einzige Nachteil war, dass die Toilette ziemlich hoch war und es ein bisschen schwierig war die Balance zu halten (Rollstuhlfahrerin). Ansonsten war alles top!!"
