We went to the beach in the morning for a run along the promenade - only challenge was getting there as the Pearls didn't seem to have direct beach front access but we navigated the mall and made our way down. All we were told was not to go out at night as it was not safe for white people. Even during the day do not wear a watch or show your phone.
