"We had a long day in York out in the rain and this Hotel cheered us up no end. The suite was amazing and so comfortable and the bathroom was spectacular!! The food was so fresh and delicious and the staff very friendly and attentiveThe bar and dining area was all decorated for Christmas which was lovely and cosy. Just wish we could have stayed longer but we will be back .Thank you loved our stay and couldnt think of a negative if I tried !"

Very friendly and inviting village. Would definitely visit village and hotel again. Expedia apparently messed up booking and we were given a double room instead of a twin.
