The garden areas in the lodge where we were staying were largely overgown and uncared for which was a shame. The staff were excellent and very helpful. "First time i have stayed at The Fox Inn but won't be my last, a great place to stop with very friendly staff. The room was fantastic and had everything you need, tea, coffee, shower & my room also had a bath.Plenty of parking directly outside your room. The pub itself was lovely, the food was fantastic along with the traditional English breakfast i had in the morning. Nothing but good things to say about the Fox Inn.."

"Was a nice room. But wow was it roasting hot. We could find anywhere of turning the heating down or off so had a very hot night, even with fans on. The toilet however had no heating so was the opposite and freezing. Nice to have our own little room but think it was too pricey, compared to the many other hotels we stay in for major race events. Breakfast was toast, yogurts or 3 choices of cereal, nothing for vegetarians and not really a continental as offered. "

"Lovely and quirky. We really enjoyed it. Ideal romantic getaway for a weekend. The private shower rooms/ toilet although dedicated to each hut are a very short walk away. Disappointed that the hot tub had to be reserved, but understandable in the present climate! Breakfast is simple…. Cook your own waffles and pancakes!!!! Would have been better to have cereals and toast with some jam and marmalade!!"
