"Location is great - the beach is right there! The city or someone needs to do something about homeless population in the area. Staff was really good. Big problem was that they are updating the facility. Of course, that is reasonable but... They did not have our room available. We had to be moved before we checked in. This was apparently due to electric issues in our original room. They moved us to a different room, which was better and they waived some fees. So, all good until... They were...

"Hotel was clean, friendly staff and steps from the beach. Downside, went to room they gave us and there was someone sleeping in there at 4:00pm. Went back to the desk and was told they forgot that person requested late check out.instead of waiting for the person to leave and clean the room for us to then use they Said they were at 100% capacity so all they could do was put us on the 32nd floor and give us a double bed instead of the king size bed we reserved months in advance. My husband is 6’3...

"Overall good other than expensive parking at $50 per night. Street parking very limited and lower floors on the "city view" side are a bit expesive due to being right above the entry. Older but well maintained propoerty. Shared microwave on 2nd floor. "
