"Place is great for kids, with lots of activities and close to the beach. Most of the staff are very friendly, but usually only one working in the reception which can mean long waiting times. The place definitely needs to do better on cleanliness, one of the bed mattresses had blood stains. There are no fans or air conditioning so if you’re going during the heat prepare to be really hot and sweaty during the night. "Stunning setting for this castle on a moat. We were delighted with our large comfortable room in the castle up on the 2nd floor with a fabulous view across the grounds, gardens and moat. Dinner at the Michelin restaurant was beautifully presented and served, and breakfast was especially excellent and thoughtful.Staff were kind and helpful and always gracious. The gardens were delightful, even in the pouring rain. Wish we could have stayed longer."
