"Good location, stayed Saturday to Monday, was aware of loud music from outside the hotel until early hours of Sunday Morning, but Sunday night into Monday was much quieter. The only criticism about the room and furnishings is the pillows were a bit lumpy and uncomfortable and the tray housing the kettle , tea and coffee etc was in poor condition."

"The room was excellent with a surprising amount of space, clean and all the usual amenities you'd need. It was nice and quiet as it could be considering the adjacent road. Both dinner options in the pub and breakfast in the restaurant on the other side were delicious with plenty of choice. At every stage the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. "We arrived late having had to travel 5 hours after work for a funeral the following day. Hotel and staff were superb and great breakfast set up the day with a good start"

"Was a little noisy in night - shouting in street both nights and bottles being emptied in to bins in early morning assume at business opposite. Better sound insulation for windows would help. The room and hotel including staff were very good. Would stay again. Great central location."
