"Have stayed many times. By far my favorite hotel in Pittsburgh- wonderful, comfortable and quiet rooms. Staff are kind and attentive. Restaurant is good. Only issue is that valet can be slow. That is easily somvable by asking for car with 15-20 mins notice. "

"This property was excellent except for the parking. The parking lot was overflowing. I asked the employee who checked us in where I could park since the parking lot was overflowing. He said that he didn’t know what was happening. We stayed at this property for two nights. This property is next to a community college. The students are parking in the hotel parking lot. "The staff was excellent and helpful. When the heat in our suitedidn't work, a staff member responded promptly and fixed the problem. The trouble with the DoubleTree is that it tries to be a 5-star hotel, but the parking lot is terrible, the breakfast food was late and cold, and unit furniture and carpeting was very old an doutdated; not near enough electrical outlets. It's a good 4 star."
