"Myself and other family members had the great pleasure of staying at Eshott Hall for a couple of nights. While the occasion was a sad one due to a family bereavement, every single member of staff made the pain less, professional and sensitive service, attention to detail and an empathetic attitude, simply superb. We stayed in the Grange and it was lovely, the food was excellent and the setting impressive. Highly recommend, we will definitely stay again. "

"Just had a wonderful stay at The Otterburn Castle Country House Hotel. Lovely grounds and despite it only being 9th Feb the woodlands and grounds were overed in snowdrops indicating Spring is not far away. At this time of year we stayed ahead of season and there were not too many people here. There is a small bar area and a lovely old world lounge where we sat before and after our evening meal with a few glasses of wine in front of a log fire. "Lovely pub with rooms. Friendly staff, big and comfortable rooms with nice decor (quite recently redecorated by the look of it), good bathroom, excellent breakfasts! Perfect spot for a stay in Rothbury. "

"We enjoyed our recent stay here. The room was excellent with a spotless new bathroom and comfortable bed. Better pillows would have been nice but not a problem for a short stay. The food was very good but the service rather slow. We weren't in any hurry but 30-40 minutes to produce breakfast after ordering seemed a bit excessive. Staff were all very friendly and helpful so positive overall."

"We had a lovely stay. Nice views over the fields. Kitchen well equipped with tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits. Luxury feel. Enjoyed the hot tub which was warm and ready for us arriving. Would recommend this place and I think we’ll be back."
