"As stars indicate, we found every aspect excellent. Staff at front desk were especially helpful."

"We were not given the large room we had deliberately booked, so 2 stars down just for that. The hotel is designed for conferences and large corporate events. During our stay it was virtually empty. In the lobby there are plenty of large, modern and uncomfortable chairs and sofas. I did not find somewhere relaxing to sit, certainly not in the room either. Breakfast was good and staff always had a smile."

"Very easy walk from tram from airport. Center of old town, shopping and tons of places to eat. Great location, staff extremely helpful and the breakfast was the best. Large buffet and you can order from the menu too!! Will stay there our next visit"

The food at the breakfast buffet is very good with lots of choices and options; plus, caters to many dietary needs. Very friendly staff. Walking to markets, restaurants, and shopping. The hotel is on a bus route and and the harbour front is across the street. Walking distance to the cruise ships."

"Excellent breakfast. 5 min walk from the byparken metro station and 10 min walk to central train station. Breakfast started at 6:30 which was great! Free water dispenser in the lobby, which was nice."

"An absolute gem! Located in the beautiful heart of Bryggen the hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable and packed full of character. Perfectly placed to explore Bergen, all the must do tourist spots are walking distance along with the train station to explore the rest of Norway. The buffet style breakfast is an excellent start to the day with plenty of choice and a wealth of excellent restaurants surround the hotel so you won’t struggle to find somewhere for dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...

"A fine view of Bergen. Well appointed apartment. Comfortable and spacious. The office staff responded readily to my questions. Only 2 things needed, one important and the other far less important: a more detailed map of the streets to get to the apartment building! and a page in the house manual to give instructions on how to use the tv and remotes. "
