"Have stayed at Palace before and had a larger room at the front which was nicer. The room was clean and tidy nonetheless with all one would expect. Paying extra for onsite parking is a nuisance but am aware of it now. Very nice character building to stay in with great access to local amenities."

"Lovely refurbished bedroom with good amenities (when you find the hairdryer by lifting up the desk!), great to have a fridge in the room. Friendly and helpful Reception staff and friendly Breakfast staff. The hotel is an easy walk to Ponds Forge swimming pool which was the reason for our stay. We would have liked breakfast to start a bit earlier than 8a.m. at the weekends as it meant my daughter could not have breakfast before she had to be at Ponds Forge for warm up. We were a bit disappointed...

"Lovely stay in city centre. Offered upgrade on check in. Bar staff told us about joining reward scheme to get half price drinks on happy hour. Room spacious and very clean. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Tram stop only short walk for Meadowhall or arena. Would highly recommend "
