Staff very nice. Parking haphazard. One bed of the twin was collapsing at one corener/missing a foot?It wasn't obvious how to get into the hotel from the main road. Hotel in need of a lot of TLC and looks shabby from the outside."

"Good hotel. Reception not manned 24h so you have to call the receptionist on a mobile number and this wasn't very late at night TBF and he did arrive quite quickly and also became the baramnwhic was handy. The room was very quiet, well equipped it's just the noisy maids and their loud Wigan accents and laughter you have to put up with but not too bad if your NOT wanting a lie in. Over all , great value for money and a very nice hotel in a lovely setting."

"Unique place to stay when your room looks out over the football pitch and stadium. Wouldn’t say it’s a 4* hotel though. Bed was very hard, and the sofa bed for the kids was like them sleeping on springs and they both complained of bad backs the next morning. Staff were friendly and breakfast was ok.
