"We had a great two night stay at the grand Astoria hotel. The staff were excellent parking our car and bringing all our luggage to the room while we went to the pool as we were early. The staff was over the top helpful at all times. It was in a great location to walk to the beach which the hotel looked after getting us our spot. All of the great restaurants and shops were right around the corner. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The hotel is modern and meant for a short 1-2 night stay . Don’t expect to much but the rooms are pretty comfortable and well maintained. Only breakfast is served. No other food/dinning options. I could recommend it for a short stay."

"4th floor rooms have been modernized. Great Breakfast. Old town Udine is about a 10 minute walk away. Train station nearby but never heard any noise. There's a nominal fee for parking in an interior courtyard lot."
