"Check in was really good, two staff members were very helpful, cheery and smiled. Rooms are very clean, beds are amazing, lovely shower. "Booked as a last minute 3 night stay for my wife and I, having not been to Crete previously. The hotel was great. Large clean room with a sea view, 2 pools, a water park and plenty of sunbeds. There is also a reserved area on the beach for hotel guests with an all inclusive bar right next to it. The food was good, with plenty of choice. I would 100% recommend this hotel. We are already looking at returning again with our kids."

Just after the mountain top villages while on the way from Heraklion to Malata I saw this amazing view with what I believe is a farmhouse on the edge of a cliff.. Would likely be even better during sunset. (I'm not 100% sure exactly where #ontheroad this view is so placed the marker where I think it was)
