"Unfortunately a noisy first night due to a wedding. Much quieter on the Sunday. Hotel did give us some discount and a bottle of wine for the inconvenience ( and lack of sleep). Food was very good and couldn't fault breakfasts. May check in future about functions and the whereabouts of our room in relation to other wedding guests. "

"Excellent location, near the beach, and only a 15 minute walk from the town centre. Really nice gym. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food for both the evening and breakfast was excellent. Only negative, we were in room 83, the mattress was pretty dreadful (like a sponge), and the bed was not even, with your head “downhill “. "

"Great location, excellent breakfast and very attentive hosts. Very disappointed by the size of the room - the Heligan is tiny - just enough room for the bed and very little wardrobe space - so had to keep my clothes in my case and it was a squeeze in and out of the bathroom - which has an opaque window - so if you dont mind seeing your partner on the loo then its ok. For a room described as 'deluxe' with a kingsize bed it was a let down, having travelled 300 miles to get there. Overall though...
