"The room was comfortable and the bathroom nice. The hallway was a bit noisy in the morning as the cleaning staff went about their business - not really able to sleep in. breakfast was really good. Front desk staff nice. Staff in the spa was not helpful or friendly - in my opinion, a phone call should not take priority over three couples standing in line. But generally, a very good place to stay."

"The hotel looked great from the outside. Inside reception was also nice but carpet on stairs a bit grubby, but dogs were allowed in the hotel so not a surprise. "Great stay at Acquaviva. We got a nice room with lake view and Balcony. Staff was courteous and nice. Breakfast had a lot of options. Hotel is a 45 mins walk to downtown Desenzano (lake front walk with a great view) and 1:30 walk to Sirmione. We absolutely adored the tratoria del pescatore that is a few blocks away. Spa was great too, the only down thing is that there is no spa tub like advised and they force you to wear a swim cap"

"Great property, very popular with families due to its proximity to the amusement park Gardaland as well as the Garda lake. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any request, the breakfast and dinner buffets had plenty of fresh and diverse options. The room was par for the course, however I found quite strange that there was no ventilation system which could cope with the water vapour after a shower."
