"We had a good stay at the Vulkan although the room was looking a little “tired” round the edges. For a hotel that would be used by a lot of tourists, they had a strangely early breakfast time during the week - finishing at 0930! Location is excellent however with easy walking distance to Grunerlokka for great bars/restaurants and even into Oslo city centre along the Akerselva river."

"It’s a great location in the middle of chique Oslo. Hotel is dated. No restaurant in the hotel but you can get a breakfast bag delivered to your room. Great and friendly staff"

"I loved the disconnection from technology and devices as well! The property and cities were very well-maintained. Every staff member was respectful and helpful. The food was delicious. However, I wish there were more lower cost options for food since there isn’t a lot around the property to walk to."
