"The hotel itself was very nice, except the restaurant was closed when we were there. Which was a pain. The parking was oddly far away from the front door. Little confusing when we arrived. The area around the property is very run down, and not well kept. Lots of leaves and trash on sidewalks. Had a creepy vibe, especially at night. Not far from the lake. But, lake was packed with tourists. No great place to get coffee or good food right near the hotel "

The room had floor-to-ceiling windows with an absolutely breathtaking view over the Bodensee. "Such a beautiful hotel with lovely reception staff. We booked a junior suite which had a great view of the gardens and lake. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice. Comfortable large bed. Great food in the restaurant in the evening. Very close to the ferry and lots of restaurants. 10 minute walk to the train station. Lots of options for walks along the lake to other towns and can get the bus or train back. Would definitely recommend staying in Uberlingen and this lovely hotel. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. The comfort room was big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids (with bunk beds). The breakfast and food (in general) at the main restaurant is very good. Also, there is a kids room near the restaurant where kids can play. The Waterpark is just across the street from the hotel, so this is also very convenient. "
