"A classic luxury hotel, with thoroughly modern features and furnishings. Located in downtown Birmingham, its right at the center of ao many wonderful bars, restaurants, and stores. The staff is amazing, helpful, and friendly. The rooms are spotless, and exceptionally comfortable! Everything is clean and well cared for. The only problem is you'll have a hard time getting out of bed, its so comfortable! I always love staying here! "

"We had a good stay. The room was good size and housekeeping relished and cleaned the room as needed. We were not told much about the property upon check-in which would have been helpful to know what was offered at the property. The vent in the bathroom was not the best which required the bathroom door to stay open during showering."

"Excellent location to see a show at the Fox, go to LCA, Ford Field or Comerica. The area is clean and safe. Hotel has an excellent fresh Continental breakfast. Also, the rooms are absolutely gorgeous as the house is a masterpiece of 19 century architecture."
